Volcano Eruption

 Aim: To erupt the Volcano

Method: We used a scrap board and Tristan Brought 1 liter bottle. We then stick the bottle into the cardboard. After that we cover the bottle with newspaper, forming the look like of the Mayon Volcano. On the second day of science  after the glue had dried, we then painted our volcano color maroon as the firstcoat. After few minutes the brown paint had dried, and we now need to put the final coat which is the color green. 

Research: Mayon, also known as Mount Mayon and Mayon Volcano, is an active stratovolcano in the province of Albay in Bicol Region, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Mayon Volcano last erupt on early January 2018. The myth of the creation of Mayon Volcano is as heated as the heart of the peak itself, with a plot involving star-crossed lovers, and a tragic ending leading to the rise of the jewel of Albay. Legend has it that a beautiful maiden, Magayon, lived in a place called Ibalon.

Results: 

Discussion: Volcanoes erupt when molten rock called magma coming up to the surface. As the magma rises, bubbles of gas form inside it. Runny magma erupts through openings or vents in the earth's crust before flowing onto its surface as lava. If magma is thick, gas bubbles cannot easily escape and pressure builds up as the magma rises.

Conclusion: Yes, Our Volcano erupted and it went so high 

Music reflection

 What did you enjoy last term? I enjoyed the performance we did with my classmate and my music lesson every monday and tuesday.

What skill did you learn? I learn more about types of scale note in a guitar and I improve my drumming skill.

Did you perform/record. Yes/No explain. Yes, we perform last term we play a tagalog love song and I did bass guitar, Eugene and gerald In acoustic guitar and jayc our singer. There's a bit nervous but we did it.

DNA Extraction

 Aim: Finding DNA in a kiwi fruit

Method:

1. Mush half a kiwi fruit in a zip lock bag with a splash f water and a small teaspoon of salt. 
2. Srain the solution through a cloth into a beaker.
3. Add a squirt of dish washing liquid and stir. 
4. Pour into the test tube.
5. P;ace the test tube in a beaker filled with WARM water.
6. Slowly pour 5 ml of mentholated spirits down the side of the test tube.

What does being physically fit mean?

To be physical fit means to be in a state of health and well being. physical fitness is defined as the body's ability to function efficiency and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be health. to resist disease and to react to emergency situations.

My school holidays

On my last school holidays I did almost nothing, I'm just staying on my bed and sleeping. Sometimes when my friends text me we will go hanging out somewhere and have fun. When I'm bored at home I gonna grab my skateboard and skate outside or I gonna go to the skate park and doing some tricks.

 We went to lyttelton with my family and we ride a cruise for 2 hours and we arrived in the next island then we walk in there on the high like a mountain, when we passed that out we take a hot coffee fight for a cold weather It's actually very cold at that time.

Junior Science Blog Layout

 Aim: To Test the pH of a range of household chemicals.

Method: Test the chemicals with litmus papers. Add a few drops of each chemical to a spot on your spotting tile. If a substance is solid of powdered you will need to mix it with a few drops of water because testing it. Test each chemical with a few drops of universal indicator.

Results: Chemical of being tested: was spray wipe, fabric softener, floor cleaner, vinegar. Colour in the blue litmus: Violet, orange, violet, red. Colour in red litmus: Blue, red violet, orange. Colour in Universal indicator: Light blue, light orange, yellow, orange.

Discussion: For our experiment the first combination that we have made was the Spray and wipe, we first put the blue litmus in the spray and wipe it turn out that the colour have changes into violet. For the red litmus the color had changes into blue. Then the universal indicator color had changes to light blue. For the Fabric Softener the first combination that we had was Orange in the blue litmus, red in red litmus and also light orange in Universal Indicator. 

Conclusion: Chemical being tested: Spray and wipe Base, fabric softener Acid, floor cleaner Base, vinegar Acid.

This song was released on August 6, 1968, that the same day when they opened the Democratic Convention. It was composed by Paul McCartney. This song is about Lennon's son to comfort him, after he leaves his wife Yoko Ono. The lyrics showing a sad situation and also encourage Lennon's son, Julian Lennon to find love. After the fourth verse, the song was shift a featuring 'Na-na-na-na'' that will last for 4 minutes. 'Hey Jude' was the first song that they recorded on eight track recording equipment.

How different does It sound to music from 1940?

The songs of The Beatles is a lot different than the 1940's because they make songs are also about us they also play different genres and that was perhaps the basis for saying that there was a big difference in the 1940s songs. The group began to get root in skiffle and 1950's rock and roll and later in the end of the year turn into the pop ballads, rock group was get interest in psychedelic drugs and eastern spiritually, electronic music, album art and music videos.
