There Is a woman named Nazira Afzali. She was 14 years old, was woken up In the middle of the night by the sound of angry voice. She slapped by a man Taliban member. Afzali was born in Afghanistan and live with her parents and siblings in a large house. His family was relatively well off. This made them an attractive target for the Taliban  who would raid promising looking  houses in the middle of the night looking for  money and valuables. She was still scared every night she sleep, because not yet removed her trauma.

She was 5 years old when they moved to Pakistan as refugees, where is youngest brother was born. Life in Pakistan was undoubtedly safer, but came with it's own adversity. His dad worked on the property in agent of koita and her mom was stayed at home to look after her eight siblings. Afzali went to school to set up by welfare organisation specially for refugees. When she was 17 her family moved for her to be married to Javid Afzali, an Afghan man who  was living as a refugee in New Zealand, they met his wife 20 days before they were married.

She was afraid to move in New Zealand because the environment in Pakistan is not same, they soon had a children after moving in New Zealand.
